This September, we are proud to once again sponsor the Baggotonia Festival, taking place from Wednesday 17th to Sunday 21st September 2025. Rooted in the heart of Dublin near Baggot Street Upper, the festival is a joyful celebration of the community, culture, and creativity that defines our neighbourhood.
The Baggotonia area has long been a hub for artists, writers, performers, and visionaries. The festival honours this legacy with a rich programme of events that span plein air painting, poetry exhibitions, oral history sessions and more. It is a chance to experience the artistic spirit that continues to thrive in our streets.
Our hotel has its own deep connection to the area’s history. Established in 1900, Dylan Hotel originally housed the nurses who worked at The Royal Hospital of Dublin. Both our building and the hospital were designed by renowned architect Albert Edward Murray, and visitors are encouraged to explore Baggot Street’s beautiful Victorian architecture to appreciate the shared heritage and design.
