Historical & Bright The Eddison
Our building was originally built in 1900 to house trainee nurses for the Royal Hospital of Dublin, located just around the corner from our hotel. Miss Eddison was previously a resident of this very building, now Dylan Hotel. During the 1916 Rising, Miss Eddison led with extraordinary courage. Under her guidance, nurses worked tirelessly day and night to care for wounded soldiers, civilians, and rebels alike, all at great personal risk. In tribute to her strength, compassion, and legacy, our restaurant proudly bears her name: The Eddison.
