About The Eddison

Miss Edith Annie Eddison was Matron for the Royal City of Dublin hospital from 1909 – 1917. During this time she lived here, the former nurses home. She was Matron in charge during the 1916 Rising. During this time a constant stream of wounded soldiers, civilians and rebels was brought to the hospital and they were cared for by the nurses under her leadership, working day and night at great personal risk. The Eddison Restaurant is launching this March with an exciting new concept and a fresh new menu.

The Eddison is an elegant restaurant inspired by Ireland’s world class food producers. With a contemporary design, the restaurant is bright, airy with an outdoor terrace on either side. The Eddison presents menus of lovingly refined dishes, heralding the best Irish vegetables from each month of the year. Each dish is created in response to this pure Irish seasonal produce and presented beautifully.

The ingredients-driven menus roll from breakfast, lunch and dinner, to late night snacks with drinks. The perfect space to unwind in the city.
